Colling's
Foundation
Wings of
Freedom Tour
'07
This past week on 09/11/07, North Central State Airport, KSFZ had some living history visit the
airfield.  The planes that had flown in are a part of the Colling's Foundation and Wings of Freedom
Tour.  The Colling's Foundation restores older aircraft, and they do a wonderful job bringing us these
planes for the future generations to learn about and enjoy.
The planes that were on the tour list today was the B25 B17, and B24 bombers from World War II.
Unfortunately due to weather, the B25 was unable to attend the first day.
I have a special word of thanks to the following folks over at Landmark Aviation for making it
possible for me to bring you these wonderful photographs taken from the Airfield side of the airport,
which is a rare occasion to be able to get up close to the action on landings and getting some nice
touchdown pictures. I would like to thank Ron Metevier, Joe Chestnut, and John Geurin. All had been
extremely helpful in this matter in bringing these wonderful shots to you that I have on this page of the
website. Thanks again Landmark Aviation!

A good crowd came to welcome the
planes on a weekday!

smaller to go through than the B17!
